BENEFITS FOR STAFF
Employee Assistance Program: EEDA provides access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to all EEDA employees through Magellan Healthcare. The EAP can help you navigate common challenges like emotional health, family and relationships, grief and loss, stress and balance, daily life solutions, career, parenting, supporting aging loved ones, financial well-being, legal services, ID theft, and obtaining discounts. All employee engagement with the EAP is confidential. EEDA will never know if you accessed this service, so you can receive support with confidence that whatever challenges you face in your personal life will not be shared with anyone EEDA.
Wellness: EEDA cares about your wellness. To promote health lifestyles, EEDA holds Walking Wednesdays during the warmer months and offers step challenges through Personify. Personify is a wellness platform that covers a wide range of wellness topics and allows you to participate in health programs, educate yourself on various wellness topics, and challenge yourself to make progress in your overall wellness. To participate in Personify and wellness challenges, please reach out to Jeanine Ramos.
EEDA also offers financial wellness resources to staff. We partner with FourLeaf Credit Union to bring employees access to financial wellness webinars. Webinar topics include how to save money, how to buy a house, how to take out a loan, etc. FourLeaf Credit Union also comes in during our orientation to talk about services available to employees including a bonus for signing up for direct deposit with FourLeaf. If you sign up for direct deposit of at least $500 with FourLeaf, you'll receive a $300 bonus. After maintaining the account in active status for one year, employees will receive an additional $100, and after the second year of maintaining an active account, they'll receive an additional $100. That's a total of $500 just for using FourLeaf Credit Union for your direct deposit.
