Since 1993, East End Disability Associates (EEDA) has been a place where possibility lives and where people of all abilities are supported to live their best life, for life. What began with families and a shared dream grew into a thriving community that now serves all of Long Island and soon, New York City. Through the years, we’ve built something extraordinary: the EEDA way, a culture of kindness, creativity, and connection that guides everything we do. This year, our EEDA community came together; the people we support, our dedicated workforce, families, and partners, to define what makes this place so special. Together, we shaped our vision, mission, and values, and we live them out every day. Our Vision: We envision a world where every person is embraced and valued by society. Our Mission: Leading with a steadfast commitment to fulfill dreams, elevate voices, and cultivate unique potential for people of all abilities. Our Values: At EEDA, values are not just words, they’re lived moments. These values come alive in every EEDA home, every program, every job site, and every dream fulfilled. Together, they make up the EEDA way, a promise to every person we support and their family that they belong. Wellness guides us to care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Kindness shows up in a helping hand, a shared laugh, or a patient ear. Integrity keeps us true to our word and doing what’s right, even when it’s hard.
