In May of 1996, East End
Consumer Council became East End Disability Associates, Inc. (EEDA).
EEDA is a registered New York State not for profit corporation,
approved by the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental
Disabilities. We are governed by a Board of Directors that bring a
wide range of expertise and experience in the areas of developmental
disabilities and the operation of a not for profit organization.
Our Mission is to support freedom of choice for persons with
developmental disabilities and their caregivers by providing a set
of resource options in a manner that reflects respect and dignity
for individual differences.
